Amazing-Service-Dogs adopted 4 dogs from us a little while ago and just
wanted to let us know how they were doing A black lab is about to graduate from their program. She will be a
service dog assigned to a woman who has issues related to a traumatic
brain injury. Meg will provide balance and stability while the woman is
walking and standing, retrieve dropped items, carry or drag items, and
alert to sounds like the telephone, smoke alarm, and kitchen timers.
Luci: A dobi mix is currently in training but already working with a
woman who has brittle and uncontrolled diabetes. Luci alerts to her
blood sugar levels, even waking the woman at night to check her levels.
She helps with support and momentum while walking, will retrieve and
carry items including her glucometer and emergency supplies.
Benjamin: A black lab mix has grown to be a strong and brave boy. He is
in their seizure alert program. He is already retrieving and carrying a
variety of items and learning new skills everyday. His prior abuse
doesn't even seem to be a distant memory.
Molly & Cyrus: Yellow lab siblings are both doing very well. Both will
be working with women who travel in wheelchairs so they will be
retrieving dropped items, carrying, opening doors, paying cashiers, and
helping out in other ways.

us your story, it just might end up here!
