Lost Dogs List

The animals listed below are NOT available for adoption!
No information will be discussed or released on any of these animals unless:
1. You are the possible owner.
2. The animal passes its evaluation and is available for adoption.

To see our animals available for adoption, please click here.

If you have a picture of your lost pet, and you already have filed a lost report with us, please email it here to the webmaster

Please note- This list may not reflect the newest listings. If you have lost your dog and you don't see it here, please call the shelter for the most current updated listings. Please continue to contact the shelter often about your lost pet. We will not release any information on the animals listed here unless you are the possible owner. If you are interested in one of these animals, you must wait until this animal is on the adoptable list. You can call or keep checking the site until that animal is available.

If you are the finder:
If you have found an animal and turn it over to us to see if an owner comes forward, you are entitled to be the first person to adopt that animal as long it has passed it's evaluation and no owner ever claimed it. Just simply let the animal control officer, or the office staff know that you "the finder" would like to adopt it! You will then be the first person in line for that animal once it becomes available for adoption.

If you have lost a pet, you should take the following steps!
1.     Contact the shelter within 24hours and file a lost report with the office staff.
2. If your animal has a microchip, call the microchip company and inform them that your pet is lost.
3. Let your neighbors, veterinarian, and local animal hospitals know!
4. Call your local newspaper. (Most newspapers will list a free lost ad for 5 days)
5. Post flyers!
