The PetSmart Satellite Adoption Center
houses cats that are ready to be adopted. The representative
will bring a dog up there with them during the day. If you have any questions about any of those animals,
please contact the shelter or PetSmart during the hours listed
above.

Adoptions stop 30 minutes prior to closing.
Animal turn-ins:
Animals being
turned into us will only be accepted during the hours of 8:30am to closing
daily. All after hours emergencies or strays, please call our 24-hour Animal
Control Dispatch at 302.698.3006 or toll-free 1.888.352.7722 option 1 for Animal
Control.
For residents living in NewCastle and Sussex Counties
Animal Control
Satellite Shelters
If you live in NewCastle County or Sussex County, your lost dog
may be at 1 of our 2 overflow shelters located in those
counties. These shelters are NOT open to the public. Contact the
Camden shelter to file a lost report and to see if your pet is
at one of those locations. If your pet's there, Animal Control
will arrange an Officer to meet you,
identify your dog, and
then redeem it back to you.
