On May 5th through the 8th Delaware Animal Care and control
convinced a local residence to surrender 24 dogs to the Kent
County SPCA. They were dirty, living in poor conditions,
squeezed in kennels/tiny living spaces, malnourished, in need of
medical treatment, and lacking routine exams/vaccinations.

These dogs are very friendly and adorable. A few could
use a little more socialization, but nothing that a little TLC and time
couldn't fix. They have been examined by our Vets and for
the most part are pretty
healthy. Some will need a little more medical treatment and most
of them will need to gain some weight and eat a well balanced
diet. The bottom line is each of them
deserve a nice home with a family that loves them! Some of them
don't even know what its like to live in a normal home setting outside
of a cage.

They really need your help! If you cannot adopt one of these
little guys, you can always give the gift of a cash, time, or
wish list item donation. Ultimately, there are plenty of ways
that you can help!

All of the pics are the actual 24 dogs taken here at the
shelter!
If you think that you could give one of these little guys a
better life, then contact the shelter as soon as possible and
let the adoption counselors know that you are interested in the
"24 dogs"

More information and details on each animal will be available
within the next day or so. If you are interested in an animal
before then, you can either come down to the shelter or call and
inquire about them.
